World Kobanê Day celebrated in Europe

The rally organized by NAV-BEL and YJK-B in Brussels to mark Kobanê World Day took place in front of the Central railway station.

Photographs of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan were carried by activists together with YPG and YPJ flags. A large crowd attended the rally.

Activists condemned the latest Turkish state’s attacks on Kobanê and Girê Spî and the isolation imposed on Kurdish leader Öcalan.

Action in Melbourne
An action was staged in Melbourne, Australia, to mark Kobanê Day. The event was organized by the Victoria Kurdish Community Center and called for unity among Kurds.

The event was held in the Multicultural Building.
John Tully, professor of history, Fionn Skiotis, coordinator of the Australian Association for Kurdistan, and Heval Herki, in the name of NAV-KURD, addressed the crowd.
